Supervising Pharmacist - Sligo

Full time permanent, Supervising Pharmacist position in a pharmacy approx 12 minutes from Sligo town.
Role will involve working 45 hours per week. Pharmacy is part of a large pharmacy group.
Pharmacy opens Monday to Saturday 9-6

Responsibilities:

• Operating and managing the dispensary in accordance with legal responsibilities, inline with the law, ethics and codes of practice laid down by the PSI.
• Building and maintaining a strong relationship with patients, supplier and the general public.
• Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately
• Monitoring stock and communicating with suppliers
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date and that all SOP's are followed, managing and following up on monthly claims
• Understand the commercial side of the pharmacy and ensure the store is performing
• Other day to day duties

What we are looking for:

• BSc (Pharm)/MPharm
• Must be registered as a pharmacist with the PSI for a minimum of 3 years
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work on own initiative
• A good understanding of budgets and stock management
• Strong customer service skills
