As a Supervising Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while adhering to all regulatory standards.
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the availability of essential medications.
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store meets performance targets.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and supporting the team in delivering excellent patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient workflow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Supervising the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients on their prescriptions and health concerns.
- Managing inventory levels and placing orders with suppliers as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.
