Supervising Pharmacist - Gort, Co. Galway

PharmaConex is currently partnering with a well-established independent pharmacy who is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist in Gort, Co. Galway. This is a 9 to 12-month fixed term contract role which requires 4 days a week (can be 3 days subject to candidate preference), required to work a max of only one Saturday in four. The store opens Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.30pm and is open Saturday 9.30am to 6pm. No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team that comprises of two pharmacists, four pharmacy technicians, and four sales assistants. The position demands a motivated pharmacist, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the general community;
• Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately;
• Monitoring stock and communicating with suppliers;
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date and all SOP's are adhered to;
• Work with the owners to ensure the store is performing; and,
• Other day to day duties.

Requirements

• BSc (Pharm)/MPharm;
• Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the PSI
• Must have 3 years post graduate experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good leadership abilities
• Proven people management skills.
