Supervising Pharmacist - Galway City
Full-Time, Permanent
4 days per week " Alternate Saturdays
We are currently recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist on behalf of a small, well-established pharmacy group in Galway City. This is a full-time, permanent role within an extremely busy community pharmacy that is known for its excellent patient care and strong local relationships.
This position would suit an experienced pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is confident taking on a leadership role within the pharmacy.
The Role
As Supervising Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. Working closely with the owners and a dedicated healthcare team, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community
- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently, accurately, and safely
- Overseeing stock control and liaising with wholesalers and suppliers
- Ensuring all documentation, records, SOPs, and regulatory requirements are up to date
- Supporting the owners in driving pharmacy performance and operational standards
- Carrying out general day-to-day pharmacy duties as required
- BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification
- Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Previous experience in a busy community pharmacy environment
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
