As a Supervising Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while adhering to all regulatory and professional standards.
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the availability of required medications.
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates effectively and meets performance goals.
- Performing other day-to-day duties as required to maintain the smooth running of the pharmacy.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (MPharm).
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong time management skills to handle a busy dispensary environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
- Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring the dispensary is well-organized.
- Building rapport with patients and addressing their healthcare needs.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain a high standard of service.
