Staff Nurse – Residential Care Centre

We are recruiting a Senior Staff Nurse for a Residential Care Centre supporting older persons. The role includes coordinating care on shift, guiding nursing and healthcare staff, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as senior clinical lead during shifts, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.

• Support the nursing team with clinical decision-making and escalation where required.

• Lead on medication management, care planning, documentation, and assessment.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and HCAs.

• Maintain compliance with HIQA Standards and the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct.

• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the centre.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

• Previous experience in elderly care or residential care settings.

• Ability to lead and coordinate clinical activities effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Contract Type

• Permanent, full-time.

Pay / Salary
