We are currently seeking Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologists to join our growing Primary Care Mental Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a service that is actively evolving, with plans to expand and deliver a comprehensive range of primary care mental health supports for children, adolescents, and adults.

This role offers a blended model of in-person and remote working. As part of the clinical work is delivered remotely, psychologists can expect a mix of working from home and from our health centre, allowing for improved work–life balance while maintaining strong team collaboration.

Centric Mental Health also uses integrated digital systems and clinical tools designed to streamline scheduling, documentation, and reporting. By reducing administrative burden, we enable clinicians to spend more time where it matters most — with their clients.

Role Overview

The successful candidates will be a motivated and thoughtful psychologists with strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills.

They will value teamwork, reflective practice, and continuous learning, while maintaining the highest standards of evidence-informed care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including ADHD and autism, in line with best practice guidelines
  • Provide evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions for a range of mental health presentations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
  • Produce high-quality psychological reports in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals involved in client care
  • Engage in clinical supervision to support ongoing professional development and safe practice
  • Stay informed of emerging research and maintain active continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Manage clinical workload effectively while maintaining high standards of care
  • Provide supervision to Assistant Psychologists, where appropriate

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Doctorate (or equivalent) in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology
  • Candidates qualified overseas must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application
  • Chartered Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
  • Fluent English (Level B2 Advanced or above)

Desirable Experience

  • Experience providing assessment and intervention services for individuals with ADHD and autism
