Excel Recruitment is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join a highly regarded team at an Older Persons Rehabilitation Hospital in Limerick. This is a full-time, ongoing agency contract, offering an excellent opportunity to build valuable experience within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Staff Grade Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process for older adults, focusing on restoring movement, function, and independence.

• Conduct comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on mobility, strength, and falls prevention.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings to address physical and functional needs.
• Collaborate closely with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) regarding patient progress, goal setting, and treatment reviews.
• Support discharge planning by providing mobility aid recommendations and caregiver education to ensure a safe transition home.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation in accordance with CORU and professional standards.
• Promote active aging and provide education to patients and families on safety and rehabilitation strategies.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Full CORU Registration (Physiotherapists Registration Board).
• Experience in elderly care or rehabilitation is desirable, we welcome applications from enthusiastic new graduates.
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• HSE mandatory training (or willingness to complete prior to commencement).
