Location: Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, Co. Louth
Contract: Initial 3-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday

TTM Healthcare Solutions is recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist on behalf of a leading HSE service based in Louth County Hospital, Dundalk.
This role is within the Care of the Older Person Rehabilitation Service, working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team alongside a Consultant Geriatrician and other allied health professionals. The successful candidate will support the rehabilitation of older adults, helping them maximise independence and achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for older adults undergoing rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement person-centred rehabilitation programmes.
- Assess functional abilities, activities of daily living (ADLs), cognition, home environment, and equipment requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborative care planning.
- Contribute to discharge planning and safe transitions of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Promote best practice and evidence-based rehabilitation interventions.

Requirements
- Current CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working in rehabilitation, acute care, community services, or care of the older person services.
- Experience working with older adults in a rehabilitation setting is desirable.
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following:EU Passport, or GNIB Card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
- Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
- International Police Clearance (if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
Salary range
- €45,514 - €65,068 per year
