Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract: 12-Month Specified Purpose Contract
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Aligned with HSE Consolidated pay-scale

Are you a qualified Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a difference? A well-established rehabilitation hospital in North Dublin is seeking a dedicated professional to join their multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, helping patients achieve their optimal health and independence.

Key Responsibilities
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and develop treatment/intervention programs for service users according to professional standards.
  • Communicate assessment results and recommendations to service users and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed clinical notes and documentation in line with departmental standards.
  • Provide support and guidance on communication, feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders.
  • Participate in case conferences, ward rounds, and team meetings as required.
  • Ensure professional standards, confidentiality, and ethics are maintained in all interactions.
  • Engage in health promotion activities and comply with the CORU code of conduct.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures while adhering to current standards.

Essential Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies
  • CORU Registration is mandatory.
