Social Worker

Excel Healthcare Recruitment are on the lookout for a Probationary Qualified Social Worker (PQSW) for our client, Tusla Dublin North-East, to join their Children in Care team. This is an agency role, meaning you will be paid through the agency while working directly within the Tusla team.

Location: 1 Northwood Ave, Northwood, Dublin, D09 V2F7

Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

Contract: Agency

Duties of PQSW:

• Provide social work support to children in care and their families
• Conduct assessments, care planning, and review processes for children on your caseload
• Liaise with colleagues, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records
• Attend relevant meetings, reviews, and court proceedings as required
• Work collaboratively under the guidance of the Children in Care Team line manager

PQSW must:

• Hold PQSW status with a recognised social work qualification
• Have experience working with children in care or in statutory social work
• Be highly organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comply with all Tusla policies and statutory guidelines
