Social Care Worker / Support Worker – Kilkenny

Careconex is recruiting Social Care Workers / Support Workers for residential services supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in Kilkenny.

Contract: Permanent | Hours: Full-time | Salary: Competitive

Role Overview:
Support adults with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives in a warm, inclusive environment. Assist with daily routines, personal care, social and recreational activities, and participate in care planning. Work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers to maintain a safe, supportive, and positive home environment.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 6 or higher in Social Care, Healthcare, Nursing, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities (desirable)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and high-quality care
• Full clean driving licence (desirable)
• Eligible to work in Ireland
