Social Care Assistant - Residential Services (Co. Kildare)

Orange Recruitment is currently seeking Social Care Assistants to join a well-established Residential Service in Co. Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of €30,272 - €37,483 per annum, plus premium payments and excellent benefits.

Applicants must be authorised to work in Ireland.

Role Overview

The Social Care Assistant will support adults with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives in a person-centred residential setting. The role involves promoting dignity, choice, and independence while delivering high-quality care in line with HIQA standards and the New Directions model.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and uphold the rights, dignity, and choices of individuals using the service

• Encourage independence, personal development, and decision-making

• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and wellbeing

• Work in line with individual care plans and service goals

• Contribute to continuous improvement of care practices

Essential Requirements

• QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Social Care, Healthcare, or Nursing

• Minimum 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults

• Full clean driving licence and own transport

• Strong English communication and IT skills

• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and New Directions
