Hours: Full-time

Salary €75,000 - €87,000 (depending on experience)

About the Job

This is a senior hospital pharmacy role focused on delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care while supporting the development of pharmacy services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to medication safety initiatives, and support the operational and clinical functions of the pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services including prescription review and patient education
• Support the efficient running of the dispensary and medicines management processes
• Ensure compliance with legal and best-practice pharmacy standards
• Contribute to formulary management, audits, and quality improvement projects
• Develop and maintain SOPs and medicines information resources
• Support and mentor pharmacy team members and contribute to service development

Requirements

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, or eligible for registration
• Minimum 5 years' post-registration pharmacy experience
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skill
• Experience in hospital pharmacy or clinical environments desirable
• Evidence of continued professional development
