Excel Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading HSE Community Mental Health service to recruit a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join the launch of its brand new Adult ADHD Team in Clondalkin.

Role Purpose
The successful Senior Occupational Therapist will provide expert assessment and evidence-based intervention as a core member of the new multidisciplinary Adult ADHD Team.
Key responsibilities will involve specialising in functional difficulties related to ADHD (e.g., executive functioning, vocational/educational support, organisational skills, and routines).
You will be expected to utilise your clinical leadership skills to:
- Lead the development and implementation of specialised OT interventions and group programmes for the Adult ADHD client group.
- Establish best practice guidelines for the Occupational Therapy contribution to the new service.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and/or Occupational Therapy Assistants as the service expands.
- Manage a defined specialist caseload, ensuring high-quality, recovery-oriented care.
- Collaborate closely with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and other allied professionals within a dynamic, supportive team environment.
Essential Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist (or pending confirmation).
- Previous experience in Mental Health, with a strong interest in neurodiversity and ADHD.
- Demonstrable clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- A recovery-oriented, person-centred, and collaborative approach to care.
