TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) are recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist in Co. Meath.

We are currently seeking applications from a suitably qualified Senior Occupational Therapist to work in the newly developed low secure mental health service working alongside Basic Grade Occupational Therapists and a diverse multidisciplinary team.



Duties:

• Manage a caseload, carrying out assessment, evidenced based intervention and evaluation of treatment programmes for individuals presenting with complex mental health difficulties residing in an approved centre. Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention is to be provided with consideration for self-care, productive and leisure occupations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary working with members of the clinical team including but not limited to Consultant Psychiatrists, Behaviour Specialists, Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Care Workers and Assistance Support Workers to meet the person-centred needs of individuals on your caseload.
• Develop and facilitate individual and group therapy programmes within the mental health unit based on the identified occupational performance difficulties of individuals.
• Promote recovery-oriented occupational therapy practice in your interactions and work with individuals, staff and other key stakeholders.
• Participate in promoting compliance with the Judgement Support Framework
• Contribute to individual care planning, risk assessment and risk management.

Key Requirements:

• CORU registration
• 3 years experience
• Experience in adult mental health services
• Full drivers license and car
