About the Role

As an Agency Registered General Nurse, you'll become a valued member of experienced multidisciplinary teams across busy acute hospital environments throughout Galway.

Every shift offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients while developing your clinical expertise and broadening your hospital experience.

You'll deliver safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient-centred nursing care
• Safely administer medications in line with hospital policies
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to HIQA standards, infection prevention guidelines and clinical best practice
• Promote dignity, respect, privacy and compassion in every patient interaction
• Provide calm, confident care within fast-paced environments

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

• Active NMBI registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Previous acute hospital experience (preferred)
• Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Up-to-date mandatory training and relevant nursing certifications
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Own transport is an advantage but not essential
