Position: Radiographer Services Manager
Location: West of Ireland
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Clinic
Our state-of-the-art private clinic in the West of Ireland is dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic and imaging services to patients across the region. Equipped with modern technology including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, and interventional facilities, our team prides itself on clinical excellence and patient-centred care. We are now seeking an experienced Radiographer Services Manager to lead and develop our imaging department.
Role Overview
The Radiographer Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, staffing, quality assurance, and strategic development of all radiology services. This leadership role requires a dynamic, motivated professional with strong technical expertise, managerial experience, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of imaging practice and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and support a team of radiographers and imaging staff.
Oversee the effective delivery of imaging services across all modalities.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations, clinical governance standards, and quality assurance protocols.
Manage scheduling, workflow optimisation, and service efficiency.
Support the introduction of new technologies, procedures, and service enhancements.
Foster a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Develop and implement departmental policies and operational procedures.
Liaise with consultants, referrers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage department budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
Candidate Requirements
Recognised qualification in Radiography (BSc or equivalent).
Registration (or eligibility for registration) with CORU.
Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, radiation protection, and quality assurance.
Excellent organisational, communication, and team-management skills.
Ability to lead service development and implement operational improvements.
