Psychiatric Nurse - Agency Shifts

Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting Psychiatric Nurses for temporary and ongoing agency shifts across North and West Dublin.

We are seeking Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) who are looking for flexible agency work, full-time hours, or extra shifts alongside permanent roles. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of HSE, Section 39 and private mental health services with competitive pay and full flexibility.

This role is best suited to nurses who can commute to North or West Dublin and who are available for day, night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities - Psychiatric Nurse

• Deliver high-quality care in line with MHC, HIQA, and HSE standards
• Support patients with mental health needs in clinical settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and care plans
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
• Uphold patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality

Requirements - Registered Psychiatric Nurse

• Registered with NMBI
• Recognised Nursing Qualification
• Relevant Mandatory Training & Healthcare Certifications
• Experience in mental health or psychiatric nursing preferred
