Project Worker – Homeless & Housing Support Services

Location: Dublin

Contract: Full-time

Role Overview

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with a community-based homeless service is seeking committed Project Workers to provide advice, advocacy, and practical support to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk. The role focuses on addressing immediate housing needs while also helping clients develop the skills and stability required for long-term accommodation. Must be flexible to work 7 day rota

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusting, professional relationships with clients experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
  • Manage a designated caseload, completing assessments and support plans using case management tools.
  • Provide advice, information, and guidance relating to housing, welfare rights, training, and employment.
  • Support clients in accessing and sustaining appropriate accommodation.
  • Make referrals to relevant services, including tenancy sustainment and visiting support services.
  • Develop strong links with statutory and voluntary agencies, local authorities, and housing providers.
  • Accompany clients to essential appointments such as medical visits, court, counselling, or property viewings.
  • Maintain accurate casework records, logs, and assessments, including database updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive service delivery.
  • Attend team meetings, supervision, training, and reflective practice sessions.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned to support service goals.

Essential Requirements

  • Third level degree in Social Care, Youth Work, Social Studies, Psychology, Addiction Studies, or related field OR CORU registration.
  • 1–2 years’ direct experience supporting disadvantaged or high‑risk individuals.
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage lone working, including out‑of‑hours work.
  • Valid working rights for Ireland (sponsorship not available)

Desirable Requirments

  • Knowledge of homeless sector services.
  • Understanding of child protection and appropriate response procedures.
  • Awareness of trauma‑informed practice.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
