Practice Nurse Tipperary

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting a Locum Practice Nurse (3 days per week) for a well-established GP practice in County Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive primary care team, delivering high-quality care in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-standard nursing care in a general practice environment
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management
• Assist with ECGs, cervical screening, and other routine procedures
• Work closely with GPs in delivering patient-centred care
• Promote health education and preventative care initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered with the NMBI as a General Nurse
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a practice nurse (essential)
• Skilled in phlebotomy, immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, and ear syringing
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Must hold a valid work visa (Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G) or be an EU/EEA citizen
