Practice Nurse

Akeso Healthsearch is a leading healthcare recruitment agency in Ireland. We work in partnership with public and private hospitals, residential services, semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare providers, and GP practices nationwide.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Practice Nurse to join a well-established GP practice in County Meath, for 25-30 hours/week. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team, delivering high-quality care in a community setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent nursing care within a general practice environment

• Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and Chronic Disease Management

• Assist with ECGs, cervical screening, and other routine procedures

• Collaborate closely with GPs to deliver patient-centred care

• Promote health education and preventative care initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered with the NMBI as a General Nurse

• Experience in chronic disease management (CDM)

• Competent in phlebotomy, immunisations, wound care, ECGs, and ear syringing

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Eligible to work in Ireland
