Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples via venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Prepare, label, and document specimens accurately
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures
• Verify patient identity and maintain detailed records
• Follow strict hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, especially those nervous or anxious
• Transport samples to laboratory according to protocol

Requirements

• Certification in Phlebotomy or equivalent healthcare qualification
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
• Compassionate, professional, and confident communicator
• Familiarity with data entry and healthcare systems
