Pharmacy Technician - Portlaoise
QR Select is seeking a dedicated and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join a busy and dynamic pharmacy team in Portlaoise. This is a full-time, permanent position with a supportive work environment and a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
The pharmacy operates Monday to Saturday, no late nights or Sunday required, rota will involve Saturdays on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers regarding their medications and address any queries they may have.
• Assist in the dispensary under the supervision of the pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage and maintain stock levels in the dispensary to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient care to the local community.

Qualifications

• Ambition and drive to excel in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
• A pharmacy technician qualification or partial completion of a formal technician qualification is desirable but not essential.

Day-to-Day

• Engage with customers to provide guidance on their prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
• Support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring the dispensary is well-stocked and organized.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, focused on delivering high-quality healthcare services.
