Pharmacy Technician - Galway City

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Pharmacy Techician for a well-established independent pharmacy which is situated 15 minutes commute from Galway city centre. This pharmacy has been recently renovated so the ideal candidate will get to work in a newly extended modern state of the art facility. Our client is seeking a candidate who can commence at the earliest opportunity, though they are prepared to wait for the ideal candidate.
This is a permanent role, requiring 5 days per week . No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays are required.
The position demands a motivated pharmacy technician, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside a lovely team (consisting of another qualified technician and trainee technician), well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere.
The system used is: McLernons
The salary is very competitive, and negotiable based on candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on their medication;
• Assist in the dispensary;

1. Manage dispensary stock;

• Selling products based on good product knowledge;
• Deal with customer medication queries; &,
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• IPU technician course or other recognised courses preferred;
• Previous dispensary experience is preferrable but not essential;
• Experience in Irish retail pharmacy would be beneficial;
• Good knowledge of pharmacy products; &,
• Diligent individual.
