Pharmacy Technician - Castlebar, Co. Mayo

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a well-established independent pharmacy which is situated in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. Our client is seeking a candidate who can commence as soon as possible but is willing to wait for the correct candidate.
This is a permanent role, requiring 5 days per week (40 hours per week) with an alternating Saturday as part of the offering .
The position demands a motivated pharmacy technician, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside a lovely team (consisting of another qualified technician), well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere.
The system used is: McLernons
The salary is very competitive, and negotiable based on candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on their medication;
• Assist in the dispensary;
• Manage dispensary stock;
• Selling products based on good product knowledge;
• Deal with customer medication queries; &,
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• -IPU technician course or other recognised courses preferred;
• Previous dispensary experience is preferrable but not essential;
• Experience in Irish retail pharmacy would be beneficial;
• Good knowledge of pharmacy products; &,
• Diligent individual.
