Contract: Full-time Permanent Position
Salary: €55,000- €65,000
Locations: Johnstown, Co Kildare
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9-5pm, 1 weekend a month.

Requirements:
- Level 8 in Applied Social Studies or Equivalent plus proof of CORU Registration
- Management Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in Respite setting.
- Car and full licence
- Requirements to attend a HIQA Interview
About the Role
The PIC is responsible for the overall management, safety, and quality of care in the respite service. They ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support staff, and maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents. Over 1 Deputy & 14 Social care workers / support workers. Maximum of 6 services users between the ages of 18 -64
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential service.
Manage staff rotas, performance, and professional development.
Ensure care plans are up to date, accurate, and person-centred.
Monitor the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents.
Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and inspectors.
Ensure transparent and respectful communication at all times.
