Our client, a reputable and expanding hospital in Dublin, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their Palliative Care team. This is an incredible opportunity for an empathetic, highly skilled nurse looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and growing environment.
The Role:
As a CNS, you will be a key advocate for patients and their families, providing specialist advice and symptom management.
✅ Clinical Leadership: Advise MDTs on pain control, care planning, and psychological support.
✅ Patient Advocacy: Assess complex needs and provide vital information regarding disease and treatment.
✅ Education: Identify and facilitate education for both patients and carers.
✅ Collaboration: Act as a specialist advisor to primary care teams for referred patients.
Requirements:
NMBI Registered (General Division).
Higher Diploma in Palliative Care (or equivalent).
3-5 years of relevant clinical experience.
Proven professional ability with excellent communication & IT skills.
Management experience is a plus, but not essential.
