Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist

The Consultant will play a key role in:

• Delivering specialist paediatric ophthalmology services within a high-volume private setting
• Providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of paediatric eye conditions
• Performing a broad range of ophthalmic procedures and surgeries
• Contributing to service development, innovation, and clinical excellence
• Supporting a family-centred approach to care, working closely with parents and caregivers
• Collaborating with orthoptists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcome

Salary & Benefits

• €150,000 basic salary

Eligibility

Suitable applicants may hold:

• Fellowship or specialist qualification in Ophthalmology with Paediatric subspecialty interest
• UK CCT, EU Specialist qualification, or equivalent international certification
• American Board, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand Fellowship

Eligibility for Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration is required.
