Healthcare Assistant - Nursing Home (Clondalkin, Dublin 22)
Full-Time | Permanent | €15 per hour + Premiums

What you'll do:

• Provide hands-on support with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) - mobility, personal care, eating/drinking assistance, etc.
• Assist residents with challenging behaviours using positive behaviour reinforcement techniques
• Work confidently with dementia/BPSD residents in a calm and compassionate manner
• Safely use hoists and other mobility aids as part of resident care
• Collaborate closely with nursing and activities teams to create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment

What we're looking for:

• 2-3 years' solid experience as permanent staff (not agency) in an Irish or EU Nursing Home
• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to support residents with dementia/BPSD and other complex needs
• Comfortable working at the fast-paced level required in a busy residential care setting
• A team player with excellent communication skills, reliability, and a genuine passion for elderly care
