Healthcare Assistant

Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for experienced Healthcare Assistants for a number of our clients across Co. Kerry.

The main responsibilities for this role will be assisting and caring for elderly clients within a number of locations to include community hospitals, day care centres, residential services and clients / patients own homes. You will be responsible for providing care and following care plans for the residents and patients ensuring professionalism and respect when assisting them with daily healthcare duties to include, washing, dressing, toileting, cleaning etc. This is an ongoing contract.

REQUIREMENTS

• QQI / Fetac level 5 Healthcare Assistant qualification essential
• 2+ Years' experience working as a Healthcare Assistant essential for this role
• Experience working with the elderly and caring for residents in healthcare environments or their own home essential
• Flexible in relation to working hours as this role includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Excellent Communication, Organisation and Time Management skills
• Garda Vetted and Full Clean Drivers Licence essential

PACKAGE ON OFFER

• Competitive hourly rate of between €16.00 - €18.00 Per Hour dependent on experience and qualifications
• Mileage / travel expenses
