Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant Will Include:

• Delivering person-centred care with kindness and professionalism.
• Assisting residents and patients with daily activities and personal care needs.
• Working alongside nursing teams to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Performing allocated tasks confidently, whether on your own or within a team.

Requirements for a Healthcare Assistant:

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (must include Care Skills & Care of the Elderly).
• Current certificates in: Patient Moving & Handling, Infection Prevention & Control, and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults (completed within the last 18 months).
• Two verifiable references.
• Good knowledge of HIQA standards and best practice.
• Must already be residing in Ireland with valid right to work.
