Salary: €80-82,000 (DOE)
Working Pattern & Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Location: This is a remote role; however, applicants must be based The Republic of Ireland.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced medical doctor to join our digital healthcare team, providing remote consultations and prescribing service for online platforms serving patients across Ireland. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about delivering high-quality care through innovative digital platforms and helping us to solve the obesity crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a GP at MyDoctor you will play a key role in clinical decision‑making, patient safety, and the continuous improvement of our healthcare services. The key responsibilities will include the following:

• Conduct remote consultations via asynchronous and synchronous methods.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and Irish regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health records.
• Participate in clinical audits, peer reviews, and continuous professional development.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection standards.

About You:

You’re a fully registered Irish Medical Council doctor with at least a year of clinical experience, who genuinely cares about making healthcare accessible, safe, and patient‑focused. You enjoy communicating with patients, explaining things clearly, and building trust through thoughtful, empathetic conversations. You’re comfortable using digital and telehealth platforms and are set up to work remotely. Most importantly, you’re excited to be part of a forward‑thinking healthcare team that’s changing how patients access care across Ireland.

Qualifications & Experience

The successful Doctor, will need to showcase the following skills and experience:

• Medical degree and full registration with the Irish Medical Council
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience post-registration
• Strong understanding of prescribing protocols and IMC requirements in Ireland
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using digital tools and telehealth platforms
• Reliable internet connection and a secure, private workspace
• Desirable Skills:
• Familiarity with online prescribing software and digital consultation platforms
• Experience in digital health or telemedicine.
