Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a committed team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

Conduct and follow up on internal audits, ensuring continuous quality improvement.

Oversee induction, supervision, and ongoing professional development of staff.

Promote innovative clinical practice and foster a culture of learning and excellence.

Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations, company policies, and best practice guidelines.

Maintain strong communication with staff through regular meetings and mentoring.

Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the wider community.

Work closely with the Marketing team to strengthen the home’s community profile.

Ensure health, safety, hygiene, and maintenance standards are upheld at all times.

Participate in recruitment, performance reviews, and training needs analysis.

Lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of management experience in the last 6 years (care of the older person setting preferred).

Post-registration management qualification in healthcare or a related field.

Proven record of leadership in clinical and operational management.

Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills.

Sound decision-making ability and results-driven mindset.

A supportive, team-oriented leader who inspires trust and accountability.

Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.
