Director of Nursing

We are now inviting applications for an experienced Director of Nursing to lead a warm, resident-focused nursing home in County Kilkenny.
About the Role:

Deliver empathetic and strategic leadership in a positive, resident-focused care setting.

Lead, support, and motivate a competent and committed nursing team to achieve high standards of care.

Ensure all clinical practices meet best practice guidelines and remain fully compliant with HIQA standards.

Contribute significantly to the ongoing performance, quality outcomes, and reputation of the nursing home.
Requirements:

Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a nursing management position within a nursing home environment.

A postgraduate qualification in healthcare management or a relevant field.

Proven leadership skills with strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach to team development.

Thorough knowledge of HIQA regulations and compliance requirements.

Authorisation to work in Ireland.
