Careconex is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Deputy Manager to join a residential service supporting children and young people in Co. Tipperary.

Location: Co. Tipperary

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible scheduling, including on-call duties)

About the Role

This is an exciting leadership opportunity in a residential service for children and young people. The Deputy Manager will support the Centre Manager in managing operations and the social care team, ensuring high-quality, child-centred care. You will help promote the wellbeing, development, and voice of young people while contributing to team growth and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support social care staff and keyworkers
• Deputise for the Centre Manager when required
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, policies, and regulatory standards
• Monitor and support the holistic needs of children and young people
• Participate in care planning, reviews, and operational planning

Requirements

• BA in Applied Social Care Work or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ experience working with children or young people in social care
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Desirable: full clean driving licence
