Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine / Geriatricians

I am currently partnering with HSE Public Hospitals and Service providers to appoint Consultants in Geriatric Medicine to a range of full time posts.

Roles include:

• Hospital based Geriatrician - Provide a specialist geriatric medicine consult service and an acute general medicine / geriatric medicine inpatient service.
• Community & Hospital based Geriatrician - develop and improve care pathways for geriatric patients and older frail patients whilst also carrying out inpatient Consultant services.
• Community based Geriatrician - develop and manage a dementia model of care along national guidelines.

Requirements:

• Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in the specialities of Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine.

Or

• Equivalent Specialist registration from EU / EEA or UK.

and

• 3+ years' relevant experience at Specialist Consultant level.
• Excellent English and communication skills.
• Permission to live and work in Ireland as the urgency of these role will prevent the processing of Work Permits / Visas.
