A leading clinic in the West of Ireland is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Consultant General Surgeon to join its growing multidisciplinary team. About the Role
The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical care within a progressive private healthcare environment. You will work alongside experienced consultants, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert general surgical consultations and procedures
Deliver high standards of patient-centred care
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with best practice standards
Participate in service development and clinical governance
Requirements
Specialist Registration in General Surgery with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or eligibility to obtain it
Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent internationally recognised qualification
Proven experience as a Consultant General Surgeon
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
