Clinical Trainer/ Training Manager

Excel Healthcare Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Trainer / Training Manager on behalf of a leading nursing home group in Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive organisation and play a key role in delivering and standardising clinical training across multiple residential care settings.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: €45,000 - €50,000 DOE

Duties of the Clinical Trainer / Training Manager:

• Deliver and manage mandatory training programmes including Manual Handling, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety
• Standardise induction, training, and competency frameworks across all sites
• Work closely with Directors of Nursing and PICs to ensure full compliance with HIQA standards
• Conduct training needs analysis and support development of annual training plans
• Develop and update training materials, onboarding content, and learning resources
• Coordinate internal and external training delivery across the group
• Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation
• Produce regular reports and training metrics for senior leadership
• Evaluate and continuously improve training programmes
• Support HR and operational teams in embedding training and development initiatives

The Clinical Trainer / Training Manager must:

• Have a clinical or healthcare-related background (nursing desirable)
• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare training or clinical education
• Possess strong knowledge of HIQA standards and residential care regulations
• Hold relevant training certifications (Manual Handling / Patient Moving & Handling Instructor preferred)
• Hold a recognised Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor qualification
• Demonstrate excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Be highly organised with strong stakeholder management ability
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms
