Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the Chief Health Ethics Officer will support the advisory function of the Office of the CMO through the provision of expert health ethics advice, guidance, and collaboration across a wide range of Department of Health policy areas. This also includes supporting the implementation of Sláintecare and the Statement of Strategy of the Department of Health.

The Department currently has a vacancy for a Chief Health Ethics Officer in the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic experienced professional with the relevant qualifications and strong track record of leadership and management.
