We are currently recruiting Staff and Senior Grade Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychologists on behalf of leading private healthcare provider in Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary teams providing psychological assessment and intervention services to children and adolescents aged 2–18, supporting families across a range of developmental, communication and behavioural needs.

The Role

The successful Psychologist will primarily focus on paediatric psychological assessments, and with opportunities to become involved in intervention services and specialist projects depending on experience and interest.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality psychological assessments for children and families.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team to reach appropriate outcomes and recommendations.
  • Participating in MDT meetings and contributing to clinical decision-making.
  • Preparing clear, comprehensive psychological reports.
  • Contributing to the overall assessment pathway and clinical governance processes.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of innovative services where appropriate.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 10 qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
  • Professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), or an equivalent overseas qualification recognised by the relevant Irish authority.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting paediatric assessments.
  • Senior positions require 5 years post-graduate experience.
  • Strong report-writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A family-centred and child-focused approach.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
