Assistant Director of Nursing; Theatre
Our client, a leading Waterford based hospital is seeking to appoint an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with responsibility for Theatre, Endoscopy and CSSD services. This senior leadership role is integral to ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and high‑quality patient care across peri‑operative services.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, working collaboratively with CNMs, Consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues. Responsibilities include effective resource management, staff coordination, service improvement, compliance with clinical standards, and oversight of theatre scheduling and documentation.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with NMBI registration.
- Minimum 3–5 years recent management experience within a Theatre environment.
- Postgraduate qualification in Peri‑Operative Nursing and/or Healthcare Management (advantageous).
Salary: €71,160.46 – €87,817.01 per annum (37‑hour week)
