Activities Co-ordinator

Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Activities Coordinator for one of our clients based in Co. Roscommon.

The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for working with the elderly, has excellent interpersonal skills, and a creative mindset for planning diverse activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the well-being and quality of life of nursing home residents.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate a variety of engaging activities, including social outings, crafts, games, fitness programs.
• Coordinating special events and celebrations for holidays, birthdays, and other milestones.
• Promoting resident participation in activities and encouraging social interactions
• Ability to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all residents during activities.
• Good Communication skills to Communicate with the nursing staff, caregivers, and family members about the residents' participation and progress in activities.

PACKAGE ON OFFER

• Competitive Salary of between €17.00 per hour based on a 39 hour-week.
