TEAM MANAGER – DUTY & REFERRAL SCREENING TEAM – NORTH LONDON - PAY £35PH
Our client in North London has requested a temporary Team Manager to work in their busy but friendly Duty & Referral Screening Team.
For this job you will need to show a proven track record working in Children and Families setting/team and be able to work to a Senior Level.
The Main Duties
. Supervising and overseeing the screening team in their day to day duties
. Contribute to the management of the workload of the Team in line with statutory requirements, eligibility threshold and department policies and objectives.
. To undertake negotiations with budget holders and other agencies to secure appropriate funding to meet children's assessed needs.
. Attend, organise and chair meetings as appropriate and as requested, within the department and with other agencies.
. To offer specialist consultation/advice on complex cases and circumstances within the Children’s Care Management and Assessment Teams.
To be considered you must have previously worked within a Local Authority team and have a proven track record with up-to-date knowledge on current legislation.
. GSCC registration, valid enhanced CRB and references covering the last 5 years are all also required.
