Speech and Language Therapist - Reed-Nurse
Location: North East England - Tyne & Wear
Rate: £ 23 to £ 26
Job Status: Contract
Reed Health are looking for a full-time locum Band 6 or 7 Speech and Language Therapist to work in the North East area. The contract will last for 5 months starting immediately.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of community roles with both adults and children and are required to have HPC registration.
The successful applicant will:
Assess the communication, Speech and Language disorders displayed by each individual and develop, monitor and review related treatment plans as required.
Manage a complex caseload independently, being accountable for own professional actions, working within codes of practice and professional guidelines and policies.
Utilise clinical knowledge to inform sound judgements/decision making for management of cases.
Plan, deliver and evaluate interventions and provide written reports of a high standard as appropriate.
Provide intervention with AAC.
This is a full-time role working flexible hours. Driving licence essential.
