Senior Staff Nurse Neuro Rehab
Paediatric/Childrens Services - London
Internationally renowned for clinical excellence, this hospital in London is entirely dedicated to women and children, providing expertise in Obstetrics, women's health and paediatrics. Kate Cowhig International Recruitment has been engaged to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse in Children's Services.
The Role:
· Provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality nursing care to children and families.
· Act as a role model and expert clinical practitioner.
· Assist in the safe, effective and efficient management of the Unit within allocated resources.
· Promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence based practice.
· Undertake delegated responsibility for the Unit in the absence of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse whilst responding to individual needs.
· Providing management and leadership to all staff in the absence of the sister.
· Participate in education programmes.
Requirements:
· Registered RGN/RCN (Essential)
· Minimum of 2 years experience at Grade 6 within Rehabilitation Nursing (Essential)
· Preparation for mentorship (Desirable)
· European Paediatric Life Support - APLS/EPLS Provider (Essential)
· Awareness of Child Protection issues (Essential)
· Experience of dealing with the sick infant and child (Essential)
