QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER – Carer Recruitment
Salary: Up to £34,097

A Qualified Social Worker is required for a job based in Amersham, for a well known organisation. Based in the Family Placement team, you will contribute to the recruitment of carers and enhance placement choice for the Looked After population.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Social Worker Job:
· To contribute & participate to the recruitment strategy & activities for the County
· To run information sessions for prospective fostering applicants
· To carry out initial assessment visits to applicants
· To run preparatory training course “Skills to foster” for prospective applicants
· To undertake the assessment of prospective foster carers using the BAAF Form F format
· To prepare comprehensive reports and present to the fostering panel
· To contribute to the production of high quality marketing materials for the service
To apply for the job of a Qualified Social Worker in Carer Recruitment in you will require:
· Qualification in Social Work (eg: DipSW)
· GSCC Registration (or eligible to apply)
· Extensive knowledge of the legislative and theoretical framework ie: Children Act 1989, National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations
· Extensive experience working in family placement
