QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER – Care & Protection
Salary: Up to £38,975

Qualified Social Workers are required for jobs based in Aylesbury, for a well known client. Based in the Care & Protection team, you will enjoy a challenging but diverse caseload, flexibility and autonomy, working in an open, empowering and supportive culture.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Social Worker Job:
· Following referral, to establish the service user’s eligibility for assessment and determine the level of assessment required.
· To undertake assessments in conjunction with the service user, their parents or carers and other agencies.
· Liaise appropriately with Legal Services and represent the Service in court as required.
· To promote the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the Children Act 1989 criteria, and taking account of other relevant legislation.
· To monitor the care being provided to ensure that the needs are continuing to be met and to undertake reviews of the needs and service.
· To provide ongoing support and advice to service users and parents or carers.
To apply for the job of a Qualified Social Worker in Care & Protection you will require:
· Qualification in Social Work (eg: DipSW)
· GSCC Registration
· Extensive knowledge of the legislative and theoretical framework
