Community Nurse Personnel Manager
TCP Homecare is a leading provider of Homecare Nursing Services in Ireland and is recognised as innovators in the field of home/community therapy services. TCP Homecare provides a quality driven IV home nurse service, to administer IV products in the home or in specialist Infusion Units. In addition the company operates a training and education service to train patients in the self-administration of products using auto injector’s devices and pre-filled syringes.
TCP Homecare seeks to recruit a Nurse Personnel Manger based in the greater Dublin region responsible for managing a team of 15-20 Nurses located in the greater Dublin region. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic professional who has previous management experience in delivering such services for commercial private enterprise.
•High degree of self-motivation.
•High level of attention to detail, having a systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes as well as having excellent management skills.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient services.
•Must possess the ability to build a good rapport with key clients
•Good time management skills.
•Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
•Supervise and manage the nursing team activity, including recruitment, training and development, discipline matters, daily supervision and holiday and absence management
•Liaise with key business managers to ensure standards in terms of internal quality, HR and health and safety are met with.
•Assign and schedule appropriate nursing staff to each service.
•Attend relevant meetings with clients and other department managers to share information and ideas on growing the business.
•Report on and process KPI’s, staff payroll and expenses.
•Effectively manage all costs relating to staff and delivery of services.
•Promote and develop of a culture of continuous improvement including initiating, developing and managing continuous improvement projects and actions
Hours of Work
Standard hours are 37.5 based on 8:30-5:00 with 1 to 2 days a week based in the head office. As this is a management role in an operational setting you will be expected to ensure the operational tasks are completed each day which may involve working outside standard office hours.
•Desirable - RGN (Child/Adult) Management experience
•Desirable - IV therapy experience
•Desirable - Commercial experience
•Essential - Full clean driving license as this is a field and office based role
