My Homecare along with their client are urgently seeking to recruit a Qualified Homecare Assistant with previous direct experience with children for a complex paediatric case in the Dundalk town area

Rotas completed one month in advance
Minimum: QQI/FETAC Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
Experience working with children in a healthcare or homecare setting for minimum of 1 year.
Completion of relevant certificates in CPR, People/Patient Moving and Handling, Infection Control & Elder abuse or willing to complete certs with My Homecare.
Full, clean driving licence and willing to travel necessary but not desirable
Current Garda Vetting and must be prepared to undergo same with My Homecare
Completed or willingness to undergo relevant vaccinations & immunisations.
Completion of Children’s First Certificate or willingness to complete with My Homecare.
Previous experience with PEG feed an advantage
To provide direct patient centred care to the child within their own home.
Providing social needs to the child in a respectful manner.
Assist in the daily care plan and individual needs whilst liaising with the family & care team.
